A bit about me...
My name is Alexandra Niehaus del Solar.
I come from Chile and live in Berlin for the past 7 years, where I have built a life in line with my values and dreams, within a community characterised by sustainable structures of care, affection and commitment.
I work as a relational psychologist and systemic coach, with a background in mediation through conflict and as workshop facilitator.
I focus particularly in supporting individuals and couples living across different cultures and systems, who have been forced (or not) to transform and rediscover themselves, helping them to sustain their intimate lives, their bonds and their sense of belonging and identity. We work mostly on issues of sexuality, desire, jealousy, communication and agreements, where personal histories, emotional bonds and cultural norms challenge and shape the way we relate to one another.

In practice, this means sessions are conversational and collaborative, I may ask about your body's responses, your relational history, or the stories you tell yourself about who you are in intimacy. We would focus in concrete and practical actions: what are you going to do now with all these feelings and thoughts? I use psychoeducation when it helps, and I give practical exercises between sessions.
Above all, for me its important to provide a safe, honest, warm and compassive space. I work from a sex-positive, non-judgmental, culturally sensitive and inclusive framework — all relationship structures, identities and expressions are welcome here.
